About this product
Steps up from a standard canister by adding a built-in 9W UV sterilizer stage — water passes a germicidal UV bulb inside the unit, which helps control free-floating (green water) algae and some waterborne organisms on top of the standard mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration.
Suited to freshwater tanks up to roughly 280 litres where green-water control or extra pathogen management matters — a step up from a UV-free canister for keepers dealing with algae bloom or a busier stocking density.
In the box: the canister body, three media baskets, the built-in 9W UV sterilizer lamp, and intake/outtake pipework with spray bar.
